This year, my Día De Los Muertos dress honors the lives too often forgotten — Palestinians lost in Gaza, souls taken by police brutality, and immigrants who never made it safely home. Our altars are not just for those we knew, but for those the world has lost to injustice. Their spirits remind us to keep fighting for life, dignity, and peace. So, this year, Laura stated my dress is my altar. A tribute. A prayer. A promise — that we will keep remembering, and keep fighting for the living
